Originally written as a screen treatment for a Doc Savage movie, called Doc Savage: Archenemy of Evil, as a sequel to the first Doc film. However that first movie, Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze, didn't do as well as the producers hoped for, so plans for the second one did get shelved.
