Synopsis
The space ship actually reaches Mars. But it crashes. But there's one survivor. But almost no food or water. But he finds a village. But everything is wrong: the music, the food, the beds...

This story was translated & expanded by Renato Pestriniero to the novel "Il villaggio incantato" (1982), which was translated into English by Pestriniero & van Vogt for a planned American publication under the title "The People of the Wide Sands"
