Synopsis
The narrator recounts several horrific vignettes which occurred during his assistance to Dr. Herbert West in experimenting with reanimation of dead humans, from the earliest experiments to the death of Dr. West.

- Written in October 1921 to June 1922 and first published in the February through July 1922 issues of the amateur publication Home Brew.
