Synopsis
Object permanence has been revoked. If you look at a person or thing, look away and then look back, the person or thing will have changed, a little. So Omar loses his school friends and family. It's a struggle at the start just to keep himself and his "new father" fed. And to make sure "father" doesn't change again.
