Synopsis
Set in the summer of 1761 (per "A Plague of Zombies"). Lt. Colonel Lord John Grey is sent to Jamaica to put down a rebellion among the "maroons" - descendants of escaped slaves. He has done little more than post guards when the Governor of the island is murdered - apparently by a zombie. Lord John solves the mystery of the Governor's murder and resolves the unrest by negotiating rather than fighting.
