These pieces serve to illustrate the ideas and emphasize the arguments presented in the essay they were initially part of. As of 2022, five of them only have been published in the initial hardcover and the following mass-market paperback edition of "Das Ende der Vorsehung" and were dropped for the editions after 1985.
