Macondo
- Macondo is the fictional, 'magical realist' Colombian town featured in many novels and short stories by Gabriel García Márquez. This list of stories that have connection to Macondo has been assembled for bibliographic reference purposes only as nominally it does not constitute a 'series'. It is restricted to those stories which explicitly take place in Macondo; all others where Macondo appears implicitly (by reference to common characters, locations or events) are listed as follows as English titles followed by their original publication date in Spanish. Some are considered non-genre. Notes attached to individual stories refer to the method by which the story is connected to Macondo. [editor PeteYoung]
