The Centuries
Per Everett F. Bleiler in "The Guide to Supernatural Fiction", "The Centuries" were books given away as premiums for newspaper subscriptions in Great Britain in the 1930's. The books were then taken over by commercial publishers, mostly Hutchinson. Since the series spans multiple publishers, it is indexed by the ISFDB as a title series.
