Night Cry

A US horror and dark fantasy fiction magazine published by TZ Publications and edited by T. E. D. Klein (issues 1 - 3) and Alan Rodgers (issues 4 - 11). Ten quarterly issues from 1984 to Fall 1987. The first issue was one of Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone Special issues, before becoming a separate magazine series with issues #2. Initially intended as a companion to The Twilight Zone Magazine, reprinted stories from that magazine with a focus on horror and dark fantasy fiction. It eventually featured original fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and artwork from many of the best horror and dark fantasy creators of the 1980s, becoming fairly influential in its short run.
