The editorials in Galaxy appeared on their page with only the individual title of the essay. The contents pages usually listed them with a generic phrase that varied from time to time:
The editorial credits were by name except for the period of June 1961 through April 1963:
The credit changed to The Editor in June 1961 although H.L. Gold continued to be credited as the editor through the Oct. 1961 issue. Frederik Pohl was credited as the managing editor from June 1961 through June 1962 and finally credited as the editor with the Aug. 1962 issue.
