- Hardcover reprint of the October 1979 issue of F&SF. Heinlein's "All You Zombies ..." and the book and film review columns were dropped, and only three of the eight Gahan Wilson cartoons were kept.
- No statement of edition or printing. On copyright page: "Copyright (c) 1980 by Mercury Press", LCCN and an incorrect ISBN, 0-385-15225-6, which is actually the ISBN of the 23rd Best From F&SF anthology which was published the following month in May. The correct ISBN for this book, 0-385-15357-0 is printed on the bottom of the back flap of the dust jacket.
