• Title on the title page reads "Isaac Asimov Presents The Great SF Stories / Volume 8, 1946". However, it's clear from the fonts/sizes that the leading "Isaac Asimov Presents" is not part of the title.
• Title on the Cover reads "Isaac Asimov Presents The Great SF Stories 8 (1946)".
• Title on the spine reads "Asimov The Great SF Stories: 8".
• Introduction not signed, but according to Isaac Asimov in an essay from Gold all of the Introductions from this series were written by Greenberg.
• "The Million Year Picnic" is without a hyphen on both the ToC, and at the beginning of the story, however it appears with a hyphen (The Million-Year Picnic) at the top of every page of the story.
