This is an OMNIBUS of the first three NOVELS of the Foundation series. The novels were formed from shorter pieces previously published separately in Astounding Science Fiction (1942-1949) magazine, but they are not short story collections.

• First edition (not stated). • No gutter code in earliest printing. • Known reprint codes: "19G" (1965), "34G" (1965), "32H" (1966), "S14" (1977), and "V26" (1980) • Contento gives a publication date of 1964. • This record is for the pre-ID printings of this edition. Starting in 1969 all printings had the ID "1932" printed on either the back flap or back cover of the dustjacket. There is another record for that edition.
