• No statement of edition on the copyright page, but there are two complete number lines, one for this hardcover edition: "1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2" and one for the simultaneously published trade paperback "1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2 Pbk".
• The copyright page contains the complete Library of Congress Cataloging in Publication Data omitting the year of publication, but including the ISBNs of both editions (0-671-44033-0 and 0-671-45224-X Pbk.), and the LCCN (81-23290).
• No stated date of publication, only the year of copyright. Date given here is from the code "0782-1695" printed on the back of the dustjacket.
• "Designed by Daniel Chiel" stated on the copyright page.
• "Sections of Courtship Rite have appeared in the February 1, March 1, March 28 and April 25, 1982 issues of Analog" stated on the copyright page. (The last date is incorrect as the issue was dates May 1982.)
• "Painting on jacket by Rowena Morrill" printed on the back flap of the dustjacket.
• The novel ends on page 460. There is a three page dedication starting on page 461, signed by the author, and an uncredited "About the Author" bio on page 464.
