Most chapters were published as a weekly serial, Sundays 1894-12-02 to 1895-03-10 (15), The Atlanta Constitution and elsewhere as, where a long title is used, Little Mr. Thimblefinger and his Queer Country: The Children's Second Visit. Title varies. Found in Bos. Globe and LA Times. Resumed in the same three newspaper -09-22 to -10-13 (4). In all, chapters 1-15, 21-23, and 17 in that sequence. Illustrations, if any, are not those by Oliver Herford.
