• Cover artist is credited as Kevin Johnson on the back flap of the dustjacket, but the complete signature "Kevin Eugene Johnson" is visible on the artwork.
• Date of publication is not stated. Date given here is from Locus #276 (January 1984). Date code "1183" is on the back cover.
• "Designed by Irving Perkins Associates" stated on the copyright page.
• This is marketed as a novel, but there is a table of contents, and some of the parts were previously published (although none are acknowledged thus).
