Notes
Long title The Wind on the Moon: A Story for Children is used at Wikipedia and in some library records.
The front cover of the 1st ed. (viewed at Wikipedia) displays the short title, all caps, over "A Story for Children" over "by Eric Linklater". Library of Congress records imply that the 1st ed. title page is equivalent, but the 1st US ed. title page shows The Wind on the Moon alone.
