The book was released with at least four different dust jackets:

• black lettering on white background (with red endpapers), which was used only on the 1st printing;
• tan lettering on black background (with red endpapers for the first printing and white endpapers on later printings);
• white lettering on black background (with white endpapers, a US 2nd printing);
• and a red background used (apparently) only on the 8th printing.
