Although the 2007 ABC Books edition's copyright page says first published by Hodder in 1999, I can find no evidence for a 1999 publication. Further, 1999 is the year of the first Lily Quench book and a "Companion" such as this one is unlikely to have been published in the same year, before the series was established. Although not stated definitively, the author's website implies the "Companion" was later than the first several books. [...clarkmci]
