Notes

• Limitation page appears after the front loose endpaper with the statement: "This leather-bound First Edition of Dæmonomania is personally signed by John Crowley". The author's signature is below this statement. At the bottom is stated "Number [copy number] of 1,000" in which the copy number is handwritten.
• "SIGNED FIRST EDITION" (over) "Bound in Genuine Leather" stated on the title page. "SIGNED FIRST EDITION" printed on the spine.
• "The special contents of this edition are copyright © 2000 by Easton Press..." stated on the copyright page. No stated date of publication. The date given for this record is assumed to be correct, although it's likely, based on the date of the "Certificate of Authenticity" that the book appeared after the August 2000 publication of the Bantam Books trade edition.
• The frontispiece, credited on the title page, but not on the copyright page, appears on the page facing the title page.
• "Cover design by Gwen Ackley" (over) "Text design by Laurie Jewell" stated on the copyright page. The verifier of this record has chosen to credit Walotsky as well, because the cover design is based on his frontispiece art.
• Part of "Signed First Editions of Science Fiction" series according to the logo printed on the limitation page.
• No ISBN, no printed price, and no dustjacket as issued.
• Pages are gilt-edged and there is a gold satin bookmark bound into the book, with light pumpkin-colored moire fabric endpapers.
• The illustrative cover design is repeated on the back.
• The laid-in "Certificate of Authenticity" is signed by the author, a witness and the publisher, hand-dated "Sept 16 2000".
• There is a laid-in card titled A note about DÆMONOMANIA and the author JOHN CROWLEY.
• This is possibly a facsimile reprint of the Bantam Books trade edition based on the page count.
• The author's note appears on an unnumbered page which is two pages beyond the last numbered page.
