- Although the cover states the authors as "Lucy & Stephen Hawking", the title page states "Lucy & Stephen Hawking with Christophe Galfard".
- The copyright page has "© Lucy Hawking, 2007" and "The right of Lucy Hawking to be identified as the author ...". Information in the back pages of the book states that Christophe Galfard "collaborated in the scientific storyline, details and images ..."
- First printing of this edition, as per 1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2 number line.
- As well as pen-and-ink style illustrations, there are a number of colour plates with photographs of astronomical objects in sets of four sheets throughout the text. The colour plates aren't included in the page numbering; they are indicated as [32] in the "pages" field above.
