David Penn writes horror fiction; according to a 2017 bio, under his ordained Buddhist name, Dharmavadana, or Dharmavadana Penn, he has published poetry and is the poetry editor for the Buddhist arts magazine <em>Urthona</em>. He lives in London, where he also works as a librarian.
