Tobias Roth - based on his research for the 2020 edition of the author's novel "Österreich im Jahre 2020" - estimates the year of birth of this author within the 1840s and gives his profession as a lawyer, working in Vienna, but who moved with his retirement to Innsbruck, Tyrol, Kingdom of Austria, Austro-Hungarian Empire. Note that the one Josef von Neupauer SFE does list with different life dates & a different occupation is likely a relative of this author, but is not the author of speculative fiction. All international sources omit the "Dr." in the author's name.
