Douglas Klauba graduated from the American Academy of Art in Chicago in 1985. He created the cover artwork for comics such as Zorro, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Doc Savage, and The Phantom for Moonstone. He has also done work on Project Superpowers for Dynamite Entertainment. He has done book covers and illustrations for Harper-Collins, Pegasus Books, DC/Upper Deck, and Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc. and commercial illustrations for IBM, Paramount Parks, the Adler Planetarium, the Bradford Exchange, and the Chicago Blackhawks.
