Bookkeeper in Queens, New York. Eventually she became a prolific author of children's books, plays, and newspaper columns. She used various names: Miss Mayflower, E. J. Craine, and the masculine name Harrison Bradwell. She wrote 38 books for children ages 9 - 12. Many of her books were about aviation and mysteries. Edith was living in New York City in 1935. It is not known what became of her after that.
