This David Madsen, who seems to be published preferably by British publishing house Dedalus and whose name is assumed to be an unrevealed pseudonym, is not to be confused with the other David Madsen (1929 - ), David Madsen, according to <a href="http://sf-encyclopedia.com/entry/madsen_david">The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction</a>.
