The issue where some changes in editorship of <i>Argosy</i> occurred cannot be identified from secondary sources. Sometime in 1931, the editor changed from Archibald Bittner to Don Moore. Sometime in 1936, the editor changed from Frederick Clayton to Jack Byrne. Sometime in 1937, the editor changed from Jack Byrne to Chandler H. Whipple. Sometime in 1939, the editor changed from Chandler H. Whipple to George W Post.
